About Purchasing The Drysdale Building and Renovating the Putnam Block

Hale Resources, LLC has been the property manager of the Putnam Block since 2015. With the purchase of the Putnam Block by Bennington Redevelopment Group; consisting of local entities and other private investors, it only made sense that Hale Resources owned the one building not included in the Putnam Block purchase, and it was up for sale. On September 1, 2017, Hale Resources, LLC purchased the Drysdale Building in a 1031 Even-Exchange. We purchased the building to prevent any outside investors from negatively impact the 53 million-dollar project at the Putnam Block. The Putnam Block is a great opportunity for our community. Hale Resources, LLC backs the economic development it will soon bring to Bennington County.
