In 2008, Jon Hale founded Hale Resources, LLC with the goal of creating an Economic Development Company that specializes in real-estate development and property management, while also redeveloping properties for private investors, not-for-profit companies and our own investments. With a strategic mindset and futuristic thinking, Jon sets out to provide a better overall experience to Hale Resources’ customers. Within the company, Jon has injected a culture of creating opportunities for young entrepreneur with his strong leadership ability.

As owner and president of Hale Resources, LLC, Jon is responsible for determining the strategic direction of the company. He works closely with his executive team to work towards the goal of expanding Hale Resources into a larger company while bringing young entrepreneurs to Vermont. Jon is a very active and hands-on owner.

Jon strongly believes in giving back to his community by volunteering his time and knowledge to different organizations. Jon volunteers on the board of R.E.D, is a commissioner for the Bennington County Regional Commission, and a member of the chamber of commerce.   


Prior to establishing Hale Resources, LLC, Jon was the Chief Inspector for American Eagle Airlines’ stations located in Boston, MA, Albany, NY, and Columbus, OH for 12.5 years. Also, Jon was the Chief Operating Officer for 5 years at Pad Print Machinery of Vermont, located in East Dorset Vermont.


Jon holds a Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering Technology/Technician from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
